Hello! My name is Ms. Caprigno and I teach Kindergarten at Nelson! This is my first year at Nelson but I have been working with children for about 8 years now. I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with an ESL endorsement and a special education certification through Kindergarten. I have taught both preschool and Kindergarten during my time teaching. I love watching my students grow and blossom throughout the year as we all learn more together and I think my passion and excitement for teaching and learning really shows in the classroom. Building connections and relationships with both students and families is highly important to me. I cannot wait to help little minds grow here at Nelson!
